Hi, I love this website. On the CEA HOW plan is jicama permitted and if so, how much. I can't find it on my food plan and my sponsor is not sure. Thanks
I'm sure it's permitted, but where it's categorized is the question. Because it's considered a low-carb vegetable, I'd treat it like a vegetable rather than a grain.
But, I don't know for sure...
I use jicama as a vegetable. You can measure it 3 ways, 8 oz, 1 cup, or as 1/3 of the finger vegetables. I have used all 3 measurements at different times depending on what I'm using it for.
